– How many months are we today? – 11. – Almost one year. – It's bittersweet. (sighs) – One more month. – And that's it. – And we got your birthday coming up. – Yeah. – One year old. Can you believe that? (Elodie coos) Yeah. – Yes. – You are growing up so fast. – I told Andrey that we
need to start planning her First birthday, but I think
we're gonna keep it low key. – We'll see. – We'll see. (laughs) Okay, let's begin. How big is she? Her weight and her height,
we have it right here. – Well she actually lost pounds – Mm-hmm.
– 'cause she started Just crawling everywhere. She just started working out.
– She is everywhere. – Yeah.
– Yes. So she weighs 19 pounds. So we lost some weight, like Andrey said, And her height, she's pretty much similar. – Same.
(toy rattling) – Around 30 inches. – So she had a big
growth spurt last month. – Yeah.
– This month, she's like, "I'm ready to just get used to my weight."

– Mm-hmm. – Let's work out, let's lose some of it. – Let's explore. – And then we can grow some more. – Yeah. So speaking on her crawling, She is crawling everywhere. Last month is basically when
she started crawling (laughs) Or actually moving on her own. This month,
– "Where you at?" – she is everywhere. She is so quiet, Also, the way she crawls. You can't hear her, unless you're like, "Elodie, where are you?" She'll kind of like, do a
little, (blows raspberry) (They laugh) – Yeah. – That's her call. But yeah,
– Uh-huh. – she is everywhere. So her favorite places, I wrote her top three places
(Elodie blows raspberry) (laughs) in the house. – Like that, yeah. – Let's take this off. We still don't like bows. Mommy tries to put 'em on And she's like, "Yeah mom, we're okay. We don't need this." Right? So her favorite, her top
three places in the house. First one. – By the door, by the coffee machine. – Oh.
– Cause that's where I
spend mornings with her. – What's her second? – Second? In the office? – No. (They laugh) Okay, so my top three were: Emorett's room because we
have organized the toys (Elodie blows raspberry) And she can easily access them herself. She can open the little
drawers, the cupboards. She loves them. Second place would be the kitchen, Because she loves opening the cupboards. She likes to tug on the drawers. And then the third place would have To be the laundry room
when I'm doing laundry. 'Cause she loves to watch it turn, (laughs) – [Milana] Hi! (Elodie laughs) (Milana laughs) -Are you so excited?! Wow! (Elodie blows raspberries) Your favorite thing ever? – Sounds like she likes all
the places where we're at. – (laughs) Pretty much. Yeah. – Yeah. She just loves
exploring right now. And it's so fun just watching her, Her little body just going. And she's still scooting. – That way, she's kind of like Emorett. She kind of like, figured
out her way of doing it, And she's just kind of like,
"Okay, I'm done with this phase." – You know who else
crawled the exact same way? – Who? – My oldest niece Adalia. – Really? – Exact same way. – She's always the cautiously, you know? "Just in case I have to just sit." – There you go, yes. – And Emorett, he's just like, "Well, I'm just gonna sit all the time." – Scoot.
– Scoot. (They laugh) – We got, our children
are interesting movers. We love it. They're unique in that way. Okay, so next thing, Her biggest milestone this
month is actually, wow. – She started to stand up. – Yeah. – All by herself. – She's picking herself up. Well, well not like, in the middle Of the room standing up. – By the couch. – Yes. (laughs) – She needs something to grab
on, but, she'll stand up, And she gets all excited about it. – Yes. – And she does the (blows
raspberry) and (growls) And all sorts of things.
– Mm-hmm. [Andrey] Good job. [Milana clapping] Look at you. – [Milana] Good girl. [Andrey] Oooo and the prize we get.
[Milana] Did you get the prize?
– Cell phone. [Milana] Did you get it? – Did she get it? No, not yet. Emorett, let her grab it. Okay? Let her do it herself. [Emorett] I draw. [Milana] You want to draw? [Andrey] There it is. – She did it. [Andrey] Oh boy. She already wants the cellphone. [Milana] Awww, she’s giving kisses [Elodie making noises, Milana & Emorett laughing] [Andrey] You got it. Good job. [Andrey] Look at you. – She’s so funny. [Emorett] Mama. – [Milana] Did you say you wanted to draw? [Emorett] Yeah. [Milana] Ah, with pen and paper? [Emorett] Yeah. I's like the best thing ever, Her little head pops up. (laughs) – Yeah. Whole new world. She's just like, "Whoa,
what's on this level?" – Mm-hmm. "And I can stand." And she will take a couple of steps. When she stands up, She kind of stands up
further away from the couch, Picks herself up and then
she'll take like one, two, Sometimes three steps towards the couch. So we're getting there. But you know, it's in
her own little timeframe When she wants to physically walk herself. – Yeah. We'll see. There are a lot
Of kids that are running around So I feel like she's
gonna start walking faster 'cause she's trying to keep up with them. 'Cause she wants to be around them. – Yes. Yeah. – She's like, "Where are they going? I wanna go get there." – Yeah. She's trying to follow them Where the fun is, right? – Another really fun milestone
is she started clapping. (laughs) It's the cutest thing. Makes no noise, but it's the best. Yeah. We love clapping.
– Oh, you only did one clap? Come on. – We love it.
– We can do more Than one clap. – Elodie. Elodie. (hands clapping) – Yay, we're doing it. Yay! (hands clapping) Yeah, no. I'm good. (laughs) There it is. (They laugh) – Yeah. – Good girl. – You're welcome guys. Trick for for the day. (laughs) – Trick for the day. Next thing is, she also
started saying, "Mama," But she only says it when she
wants me right before bedtime.
(laughs) – "Mama, mama." – "Mama, mama, ma." And I can never get it On video. Every single time I tried To pull my phone out really fast, She stops. But I love it, it's the
cutest little noise. "Mama, Mama, Ma." – Yeah. – But she's also Trying to have her own little language. It's not just like, babbles
or like, "Da da da." She actually is trying to copy us now. – Oh yeah. – She still does her raspberry. She thinks it's the funniest
thing ever when we're talking Or we're like, "Elodie," She goes, (blows raspberry) She thinks it's hilarious for some reason. (Elodie blows raspberry) (Milana laughs) – Yeah. – We think it's hilarious. (Elodie blows raspberry)
Her little character Is so fun. (Elodie blows raspberries) – [Milana] What are they doing? (Elodie growls) (Em and Elodie both squeal) (Milana laughs) Yeah?! – Where do you wanna go? What do we see over
there that looks so fun?
Mommy's brushes? Do Mommy's brushes look so fun? – Yeah. – Mommy's earrings are fun. That's what's fun
– Oh man, – right now.
– she's gonna rip those off. – She's actually pretty gentle. Until she's not. (laughs) Mommy's earrings. – She loves to just grab those
ears and just like, pull 'em. – Yes. It's just something about it. She likes feeling things. – Oh yeah. That's one thing she keeps doing. She takes the food in,
takes it out, feels it, Puts it back in the mouth.
– Put it back in. (They laugh) That's the best thing ever. – Let's see how it tastes. (Andrey makes slurping sounds) (Milana laughs) – And then feels. But speaking on that,
she eats really well. She eats with all of us. And then Andrey was saying,
"Babe, you gotta put on The list the things that
she does this month. She spends mornings with me (Elodie blows raspberry)
while she eats yogurt. I make coffee." – I make myself a coffee. – Mm-hmm. – Give her a yogurt
and we do our thing. – You're a good foodie. You eat a lot.
You eat really well. Yeah, she eats really good. She'll feed herself really good, And she's very gentle with it. The way she picks food,
or when she takes it (Elodie fusses)
from the table, She'll pick it with her thumb
– Yeah. – and her pointer finger. – She gets that from me. I usually, I won't grab things like that. I usually-
– Very delicate. (laughs) – I'll be like- – Emorett and myself are rough. (laughs) The next thing I wrote was She's starting to also sing. – Oh, yeah. – We play music and there's this one song, "What a Wonderful World." She likes it. I think it's a very soft melody. And she goes, "Nah, no, nah." (laughs) (Elodie "sings") What's the next point
about you, baby girl? So we have have family in town, And there's four kids staying with us. And now we have some other
cousins staying with us. And she is obsessed because
I have two older nieces. That carry her everywhere Around the house and she loves it. She will scoot towards
them, crawl towards them. There she is, there she goes. – Uh-huh.
– Ahh! – She has an insane grip, also. So she's gentle, but she's mighty.
– Yeah, the grip. – So she-
– Both the kids had that. – Yeah. So the cousins
will take her everywhere. They'll take her upstairs,
(Elodie coos) Show her what they're doing. – They're spoiling her with
this carrying everywhere. – Yes. She's very loved on. But she loves being carried. She'll crawl her way towards her cousins And just be, (both coo) (Milana blows raspberry) – Come. – And picks up her hands
towards and stretches And does this with her
hands to pick her up. – Yeah. – And then my sister's also here, And she calls her "Mama" as well. (laughs) She's her second mommy. But yeah, that's another point. She knows who's who. If she knows they're
familiar, she will go to them. If she doesn't, oh no. She will actually start crying And turn away as fast as
possible if they're a stranger. – Yeah. It's like a stranger danger phase Right now for her. – Really quick. I think Emorett was the same time, What was it,
– Yeah. – like around 10, 11 months? – She looks. Ah! (laughs) – Yeah. Will actually make
a face and start crying
If somebody's trying to take her Or take her from someone
– Yeah. – that she knows and she wants to be with. But yeah, I like this phase right now. It's very, like she's becoming
her own little person. Her character is starting to really show, And really develop and
it's so fun seeing her With other kids, like bigger kids. She doesn't have anybody her age here. – No. – She has younger cousins in Florida. Little girls that are her age. Or actually half a year apart, I believe. – The other thing she
does not like anymore Is throwing her up. – Yeah, she does not like, she
does not find, oh watch her. Yep, she's laughing. (laughs) – Little ones, yeah.
– Staring to laugh. The little ones. But I feel like, yeah, Anytime I try to throw her up
(Elodie fusses) Now she just gets upset. – She gets upset. – She gets upset and scared. – Probably because she already knows. – Yeah. – The balance. – Yeah. She figured out,
I mean, I guess, you know, Sometimes she loses her balance. She doesn't like it, and
she knows what it is now. – Yeah. Her and Emorett are
still two peas in a pod. He always makes sure that she's okay. – Oh yeah.
They love playing together. – Love playing together. They'll be always in the same room. They're actually pretty good together. (Elodie coos) I can't believe it's a very, this month, Even with Emorett was very bittersweet, Because it's the last month Before their first
birthday, and that's it. You know? I feel like they're not as, They're not a baby anymore. – Yeah. – You know? – She's not a little
infant newborn, kind of. (Elodie fusses)
– Yeah. It went by so fast with you. – You're like a nice
– So fast. – good sized baby already With your own character. – Yeah. – The things that you like,
the foods that you like, The people that you like. – Yeah. (laughs) The people. The places. – Where people take you. – Mm-hmm. And she still continuing this
thing with, I was looking At my notes, Emorett was the same way. They don't like the car seat
unless it's already moving. Like, they don't like being put Into the car seat because they know- – Yeah, he went through that phase. – Oh boy, we're getting strapped in.
That means either I'm gonna- – Long time in the car moving.
– Yes. Yes. – But as soon as-
– But that went Away with Emorett Maybe in a month or two, And he started liking it again. – Yeah, I don't know what it is.
– So, we'll see. – We'll see with her also, yeah. I'm gonna try to keep her
in this car seat for as long As possible before we
transition her into the- (Elodie cries) What do they call it,
the convertible car seat? – Yeah. – When they can go forward or backwards. But we wanna use her Doona
for as long as possible. 'Cause she's so much
smaller than Emorett was, Emorett was already I think like 27 pounds at this age. 27 pounds.
– He was a big baby. He was a big kid. Not kid. (laughs)
– He's still a big kid. – He was a big baby. Yeah, but he was already
kind of getting squashed In his car seat. But with her, she still has
quite a bit of time to go. I think this was a great update. The next update is gonna be one year old. – One year. – (gasps) That's gonna be an exciting one. We're definitely Gonna do something special.
(Elodie fusses) – She sees herself.
– Is that you? – Mama. Come on, say it on camera. Say, "Mama." Do it. Do it. – Want Mama? – Mama. Mama. (Elodie laughs) Come on, do it. Do it on camera for Mommy. – Okay guys, we will see you- – Next month. When she is – [Both] One year old. – 12 month update. – Can't wait. Woohoo. Bye. – Bye bye. – She waves so beautiful. – Oh yeah. – Say, "Hi." – Hello. She does it to the "Hello." Hello. But we'll say Bye-bye. (Elodie coos) Bye-bye. Yeah. – Okay. That was good. (laughs) There you go.
– Bye. – Bye.
